During their time together, Marilee would reportedly receive large purchases of greenbacks and expensive jewelry to keep her relationship with Blevins a secret. In addition, Marilee conspired with Blevins to hide his assets from his family and the government when he passed away.

2. Margarita Cansino – Margarita Cansino was the mistress of the famous Spanish matador Luis Miguel Dominguín. It is believed that Dominguín’s wife first hired Cansino as a housemaid. As their relationship progressed, Cansino become more than just the hired help. In fact, the affair between the two eventually caused a much publicised scandal in 1939. To make matters worse, when they became lovers, Cansino was only 17-years-old and still legally a minor.

3. Lola Montez – Lola Montez was the mistress of King Ludwig I of Bavaria. Montez had a reputation as a scandalous dancer and courtesan, and she gained notoriety for her relationship with Ludwig in the early 1830s. Montez was a constant source of controversy, as she was known for her extravagant lifestyle and her numerous affairs. Although Alice was aware that her relationship with Roosevelt was unorthodox, she could often be seen in public with the powerful figure. Alice was considered a force to be reckoned with and was known for her intelligence and wit.
